JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an individual interested in Playground Construction and Sports Court Surfacing. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, hardworking individual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not required—as we offer on-the-job training. The ability to work in a bilingual environment (English and Spanish) is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate with the team on the construction of playgrounds, including the installation of playground equipment and safety surfacing.
• Apply surfacing to sports court surfaces, including basketball courts, tennis courts, and multi-use sports areas.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Interest in playground construction and sports court surfacing.
• Ability to stay organized and manage several tasks or projects at the same time.
• Ability to read and comprehend installation instructions and layout drawings.
• Proficiency in English. (Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to drive and / or operate lulls, manlifts, bobcats, and various other pieces of heavy equipment is desirable.
• Ability to perform manual labor that will require operating in an outdoor environment.
• Must be willing to travel 80% of the time and work 100% outdoors.
• Must pass a clean background check and obtain Jessica Lundsford Certification within 90 days of employment.
